Garden Redesign

The client started with a blank-canvas garden, and with talented landscape designer Kate Carr creating the design, it made the project much easier for Wilton Landscapes. The client wanted plenty of planting areas, a generously sized lawn, and beautiful curved paths leading to raised beds built from red brick, along with a dedicated area for a wood store.

Raised Beds

The client wanted two raised beds built from red Cassandra bricks to match the original bricks around their patio. The beds were constructed on a concrete foundation and will be used for growing herbs and vegetables.

Design

The design consisted of a pathway base with an environmentally friendly membrane, compacted Type 1 sub-base, and a finish of 10mm Dorset gravel. Steel edging gave the paths a well-defined look with elegant curves. There are plenty of areas for planting, along with a generous space for turfing.

Next, the project will move on to fencing, building a pergola, laying the turf, and installing low-level lighting to enhance the garden during the evenings and at night.
